HEAVENLY TRIO, April 9, 1999

Among the new breed of pianists, Stephen Scott definately soars beyond the status quo....His trio involves vicotor lewis, and ron carter; two men that have been infused in the artform years and years before scott's existence....Thats what makes the cd so exciting.....his supple mcoyish style accents really ignites the rest of the band...The addition of the percussionist makes this cd even more fresh and innovative....five stars baby.....

We were coming back from my son's wedding; I had dropped my wife and our two daughters off at the hotel and on the way to the parking garage I heard this great track I just had to know the name of. I had to sit through two more other-group tracks before I found out it was Stephen Scott's "Virgo". By now my wife and daughter were frantic, thinking something had happened to me. I then had to order it from Germany. It was worth all the trouble, and now it's easily available from Amazon. Hope you like it as much as I did.
