4.0 out of 5 stars great sunglasses
I wear glasses full time, so my sunglass options are limited. My current glasses came with magnetic clip ons, but I've had a lot of problems with them. I'm very pleased with these...the only problem I can see with them is that the hinges on the arms are very tight. I'm waiting for them to snap...or loosen up. Not sure which will happen first. My husband is ordering a...

3.0 out of 5 stars HD Vision Wraparound Review
3 stars. Bought at a local store, impulse purchase. I liked the view thru the increased contrast from the amber/yellow lenses, which are graduated-tinted with a darker brown band towards the top. I would keep them, but will return them because the frame is just too big for me. I usually wear a medium-sized frame from the "other wraparound" brands, but this frame just sits...

My husband is ordering a pair because they actually block the sun on the top as well as the sides. Perfect for the convertable.

3.0 out of 5 stars HD Vision Wraparound Review, April 28, 2009

3 stars. Bought at a local store, impulse purchase. I liked the view thru the increased contrast from the amber/yellow lenses, which are graduated-tinted with a darker brown band towards the top. I would keep them, but will return them because the frame is just too big for me. I usually wear a medium-sized frame from the "other wraparound" brands, but this frame just sits a bit too wide and long. Quality is so-so, barely average with shiny hard plastics... don't know how scratch-resistant the lenses are. While the view is nice with a reduction in glare and higher contrast from the amber tint, I think the TV ads definitely abuse the "HD" moniker. Caveat emptor, try before you buy.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Buy!, July 31, 2008

These are for my husband, who cannot wear contacts anymore, so he must wear glasses. They are inexpensive, and REALLY good. They do the job, and you can't find them in stores. You can find/order similar glasses for about 5-10x the price - which are no better, and (in my husband's opinion) these inexpensive glasses are the best. Very lite. Very sharp vision. Very comfortable, and stylish (you don't look like you're wearing some medical/old people glasses).

5.0 out of 5 stars Great for computer eye strain!, December 17, 2008
When I'm on the computer, I constantly get eye strain. However, since I've been using the Hd Wraparounds I don't get those annoying symptoms of strain anymore. I can actually look at the computer screen (my lcd) and not get blurred vision. The glasses completely dim down the glare and I can read again. I'm a graphic artist and I recommend these for anyone who looks at the computer for a long time. No more eye strain!

When these wrap around HD glasses first hit the market, I loved them. Bought several pair. finally found them again here. However, I think perhaps they are the defective ones that couldn't be sold in stores. The material of the side panel is all blurry, as if overheated during the making of the product, making peripheral vision impossible. I've purchased 12 pair of these glasses from this store, and they are all defective. Very disappointing.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great sunglasses to wear with precription glasses, August 7, 2009
This review is from: HD Vision WrapArounds Wrap Around Sunglasses (Eyewear)
I am an avid cyclist and need sunglasses to ride my bike. I also wear prescription lens with are the gradient type, for both reading and distance vision and everything in between. I bought some prescription sunglasses a few years ago (Bolle) that were $250, but unfortunately they will only work for distance vision, since gradient lenses cannot be made in these type of glasses. This makes it difficult to ride my bike and yet see my heart rate monitor display and my speedometer without removing my sunglasses and putting on my regular glasses, which is very impractical.

I saw an ad on TV a couple of weeks ago and decided to order a pair of these sunglasses. They fit over my prescription glasses, provide a good UV block, and are light and comfortable. Definitely worth getting, and I wouldn't hesitate to get another pair of needed.

5.0 out of 5 stars Better than expected!, July 15, 2008
These were a gift for my husband for whom light, especially glare, is a migraine trigger. His other wrap-around sunglasses were green and interfered with distinguishing lettering on road signs. These solve that problem, protect his eyes, and are quite comfortable.

The HD Vision glasses which I received look similar to the ones pictured. As other reviewers have stated, the side view plastic lens is not clear and has a totally different shape from the one pictured. The lens color is more yellow than amber. I ordered 8 of the sunglasses and the arrived in bulk shipping, not individually packaged. The Seller had the opportunity to make clear exactly what he is selling and obviously chose not to provide a detailed description to buyers. Compared to the REAL HD Vision Sunglasses as Seen on TV and sold at Walgreens for $9.99 plus tax, these sunglasses are an OK deal. Just don't expect to get the real As Seen on TV HD Vision Sunglasses you may have purchased in the past.
