I'm rating this from my experience on CS 1.6. Honestly, I did not see that much of a difference. I'm from Hawaii and most West servers I join when using my regular integrated Ethernet port, I get an average ping of 60~85. With the Killer Xeno Pro when joining the same servers, it's like literally about the same or sadly worse. The major difference I did see is my FPS rating on net_graph 3. Like when connected on my integrated Ethernet port, the FPS rate would constantly be at 99.99 and never at 100.0. When connected on the Killer Xeno Pro, there are many times when my FPS rate are stable at 100.0 literally.

By the way, don't install the drivers from the CD that is included with the product, it's outdated and crap. Go to BigFootNetworks site and download the updated drivers from there.

Do not use the cd included, it is the old software and drivers.
If you can get the new software for your device and OS at bigfootnetworks.com and install it after plugging the NIC in.
This will save you the trouble of trying to update from installing the disk.
The disk contains the verison 5 software, if you want to update you have to completely rip the v5 out before installing the v6 from the site and then having to rip out both (as i had to) in safemode before trying again.

Other than that, do a speedtest.net test and plug that in as your speed values in the software and BOOM! your on the web (and or kicking but in WOW).

Bigfoot Killer Xeno Pro

This is a network interface card for games. It doesn't really speed up online games as much as it makes them more playable by reducing the stuttering, and jerking when a lot of stuff is going on in the game. The software utilities are cool and the Dashboard is useful if you have FRAPS installed because it shows you all your game performance indicators - FPS, Ping, CPU load, etc. It's a little pricey, but hey, I just spent $125 for a keyboard for gaming, so what the heck.

This card installed fine. I used the latest drivers from the web site. I found that when my computer comes back from sleep mode, the card does not work. After searching Bigfoot's knowledge base, I found that the motherboard is most likely not giving the NIC enough time to fully boot back up. Although, my mobo is not listed as a known mobo to have this problem, I believe this is what is happening with my case. I have a Gateway FX with a TBGM01 mobo. Without being able to know if this card is actually going to work in your system, I would not recommend getting it. Get an Intel gigabit card with the highest reviews, for a rock solid of board NIC.

This product works great! My lag went down dramatically when playing Team Fortress 2 and WoW. If you are another gamer like me, then please don't buy because I don't want the competition. My kill ratio in TF2 went from 2:1 to 4:1. In WoW I stopped being frustrated and now enjoy the game. If you're already a bad game player, then you probably won't notice any difference...
