This is a BOOTLEG set. There has been NO official release of this series yet by any studio here. I suggest waiting for an official release of the series if you want a quality copy of the series for your collection.

My purchase of the Visionaries series brought back wonderful childhood memories when Saturday's cartoon lineup in the 1980's was a must for kids. The quality and packaging of this boxset dvd series was excellent! I was completely pleased that I was able to get a replacement to one of the disc that skipped in one of the episodes, which is a common problem that we eventually all encounter in purchasing any dvd. (All the other episodes were fine.) At first I was hesitant at ordering from a seller other than Amazon but after this purchase I would order again from Reflect Magic as they have proven to be reliable, professional and excellent customer service!

The dvd set came in good time. They bring back childhood memories and I love watching them with my kids. An all around great product.

A classic cartoon that takes you back to the Saturday morning melee, and if you were a child of the 80's you were in the midst of cartoon supremacy! Though overlooked, hardly watched, and underrated, visionaries was amongst the late greats like Transformers, G.I. Joe, M.A.S.K., Jem, and my Little Pony to name a few. Visionaries DVD hits the lens spinning right into the shows introduction of the main catalyst character that brings all the spectral knights, the darkling lords & other nameless characters together in a survival of the fittest type obstacle course. You later get to see how the remaining competitors are rewarded, and interact with one another as teammates & as bitter enemies. If your into cartoons about knights, sorcery & magic, and of course battles, then this is definitely the one for the collector in you. Enjoy!

I love Visionaries- has this set been release yet? If so, when was it? Why isn't Amazon selling it? There are other sellers listed, why not Amazon? I love this show and I'd like to buy it, but not at $70! Come on, Amazon, help me out! :)

with that said, what else could you ask for?? This set contains the whole series (13 chapters, it's a shame it didn't aired more). The video quality it's not like HD, I mean, for a cartoon which originally was released on VHS and ALMOST forgotten by the studios, you are going to watch a very good episodes and nice sound quality. Repeat the spells and be part of the age of magic! ENJOY IT! BUY IT!

"I LOVED THIS SERIES"growing up and finding it is GREAT! this box case is pretty decent,All the episode are in this boxset,although I wish it would of been REMASTERED and maybe have some SPECIAL FEATURES or extras. "oH Well". STILL NICE to own though even it it's only the episodes.
