2.0 out of 5 stars What A Disappointment
The first two songs on this CD ("Visit Me" and "That Other Woman") are pretty good and sound like the Changing Faces that we have come to know and love. And the 8th song on the CD ("Doin' To Me") is OK. But the rest of the songs on this CD slide down into mediocrity. In fact, some of the songs are not even mediocre - they're just flat no...

The first two songs on this CD ("Visit Me" and "That Other Woman") are pretty good and sound like the Changing Faces that we have come to know and love. And the 8th song on the CD ("Doin' To Me") is OK. But the rest of the songs on this CD slide down into mediocrity. In fact, some of the songs are not even mediocre - they're just flat no good. And the electronica and 'space ship' sounds on at least one of the songs is just plain annoying. I gave this CD two stars - one for "Visit Me" and one for "That Other Woman". Save your money on this one. What a disappointment.

4.0 out of 5 stars As good as I expected, May 15, 2003

This is a cool album. I have all of their music and they are pure genuises. I know alot of women out there can relate to what they sing about. I know I can. The thing that puzzles me is that "Come Over" is the exact same song that Aaliyah has on her last album "I Care 4 U". I know Changing Faces came out with their album first, but I need to know how this came about and whose song it was orginally. Other than that, I'd recommend to any Changing Faces and non Changing Faces fans.

5.0 out of 5 stars Whole CD very good!!! not only one song, July 7, 2001

This CD was quite a surprise. The music is excellent, all the songs are good, their voices do well together, and in my opinion the production work was very good. I got this CD as a gift, thinking this was a one-song band, but was quite pleasantly surprised. I love the whole CD. No explicit lyrics, romantic music, but energizing at the same time.

4.0 out of 5 stars A pretty nice place to "VISIT"., February 27, 2001

Changing Faces latest effort stuck with me longer than the last two because this CD seem to be about growth. Certain songs may sound formulatic, but they actually turn it to an advantage and make it work for them. Songs of love and lust now carry more meaning and vocal talent than the songs performed by the latest girl group put together last week to sing the words on the music sheet. With or without feeling is opitional. Changing Faces may not impact black music as a major force, but with recordings like this, they now can carve a definite niche or two. Good Work, ladies!

5.0 out of 5 stars This Is A Visit You Won't Forget. 9/10, July 22, 2001

Changing Faces third album blew me away. I think both girls have grown mentally and vocally and have created there hotteset cd yet. There first and second album were both hot but this album is blazin. Well I'm gonna let people know that if you are not into slow songs then this album isn't for you, but if you are a true R&b fan you will feel this cd.The opening track "Visit Me" is a pretty good opener and was written and produced by R.Kelly. Joe also wrote and produced the smash hit "That Other Woman". Anoher song I am really feeling is "Bitch". "I Told You" featuring Dave Hollister has to be the best song on the cd. "More Than A Friend" is a song about being in love with your best friend, it is really a great song. Queen Pen gets things bouncing on the club banger "Baby U Ain't Got Me". Basically I would recommend real R&B fans to pick this album up because it is on fire. So take the Visit.

4.0 out of 5 stars Ain't that bad at all., May 31, 2007
This review is from: Visit Me (Audio CD)
I admit it. At first listening to this album I wasn't that impressed, but it usually takes a couple listens to appreciate some albums. So what's good about it? Well, it's actually pretty good. Songs like Visit Me, Come over, That other woman and Out of Sight are great songs, that sound sweet and seductive, especially Out of Sight (which is probably the best song). I guess for some people, you would have to be in the mood to listen to songs like these, so I wouldn't recommend it, if you don't like this kind of Rnb (mainly slow, sweaty and sexy like this album). There are some songs though, that I just wasn't feeling. So it's a 3.75.

5.0 out of 5 stars well rounded album, January 14, 2005

I will say this is not my favortie Changing Faces album because All Day All Night is my favorite album of all time. Visit Me(my favorite track on the album) sounds like a lost track from all day all night, its a sensual invitation to a bedroom meeting. The girls both come threw on the track vocally..I love it when they play off of each others energy.Vocally Cassandra and Cherise have this amazing chemistry that is currently lost in todays r&b market. I love Aaliyah but her version of Come Over doesnt hold a candel to theirs, Cassandra Lucas' voice is just beyond seductive. Baby You Aint Got Me, a very uptempo track with queen pen is a standout, you can actually sing and carry uptempo songs, another skill lost among todays r&b females..Ciara*cough*.I also enjoy the live track more than a friend and the duets shine especially You Told Me..Cherise lets go on that track and I was surprised.another solid effort from the classiest sounding ladies of r&b..by the way the sexxy new look is hot!
