Of all the subdivisions of the mind/body/spirit subject, ufology may be the most controversial. Yet many people are drawn to its study for the same reason they examine palmistry, meditation, aromatherapy---they are seeking an alternative explanation to the norm. In this Alternatives title, ufologist Peter Hough, provides well-reasoned evidence for an alien presence, ranging from physical landings to abductions, from the unexplained to the obvious and brings a realistic assessment to undisputed examples of alien activity from around the world.
Peter Hough was born in Nottinghamshire, UK, and is married with two daughters.
He began investigating and researching cases of unexplained phenomena when he was in his twenties. Much of the results of his work have appeared in 18 non-fiction books and several hundred magazine and newspaper features. His books have sold world rights and have been translated into 14 languages. He has lectured widely and taken part in many radio programmes. He has also appeared in TV documentaries in the UK, USA and Japan.
He has a B.SC (Hons) in Psychology, and his study with Dr Paul Rogers of individuals who have experienced so-called alien abductions, appeared in the peer-reviewed journal 'Imagination, Cognition & Personality'.
Peter has put his background to good use in his novel: 'Stench of Evil', a supernatural detective thriller. Its sequel: 'The Devil Inside' is a work in progress.
