Adrenaline-fueled indie rock-n-roll!!!, March 5, 2010
This is one of my favorite albums of 2009. "Visitation" packs a punch -- it has a driving sound to it that makes it ideal for running (in the park...or through nightmare landscapes) or crazed spontaneous dance parties in your living room. While it's quite a departure from D-Day's previous album, I think it's a marked improvement. The rocking and rolling is countered by intricate, lush, harmonic landscapes that merit listening and re-listening. Basically, I think that everybody should give this album a listen. It's beautiful enough to make you cry, but powerful and moving enough to make it worth it every time.
