Book Description

June 2004
Nearly every ancient culture has legends of ancient visitors who came from the stars. These visitors brought knowledge, advances in technology, and sometimes chaos to the primitive inhabitants of earth. The best preserved of these legends are embedded in South American lore and in sacred wisdom passed from generation to generation in Native American traditions. The Hopi tribe, for example, has a detailed and complex mythology involving what appear to be aliens. The Hopi also have specific prophecies involving a return of these visitors.

"Visitors From Hidden Realms" details many of these ancient South American and Native American legends and compares them to modern reports of UFO sightings, strange appearances of unusual people bearing important messages, and alien abductions. Author Brent Raynes, who has investigated UFO reports since 1967, presents a multitude of previously unpublished UFO cases and abductions and shows how these seem to be directly related to the visitations reported by modern shamen. Raynes also presents the thoughts of some of the most important thinkers in the field of ufology and reaches remarkable—and surprising—conclusions about the visitors.

(REAL NAME)
This review is from: Visitors from Hidden Realms: The Origin and Destiny of Humanity As Told by Star Elders, Shamen, and UFO Visitors (Paperback)
This book is a mix. He interweaves indian history and myth with UFo's and other mysterious events. The book was at times, not my cup of tea. I sometimes found it boring, and certainly long. But at other portions of the book were some real diamonds and nuggets of information presented in a way with surprising potential.

This book is wothwhile because it introduced me to the UFO and alien contact expeiences induced by dimethyltryptamine.

You will find discriptions of such things as the "Blue Xendra Arch" of Alagoas, Brail.

This is a book with potential. If you are interested in indian lore, then you should consider this book to be a 4 or 5 star book. I found the Indian lore boring, thus my lower rating. It is a good book. It has it's plusses and it's minusus.
