I love this book. I ordered it off of Amazon.com for my daughter who, at two, is discovering and already loving books. This book was given to me as a child and I wanted to share some of my loves with her, but not at the price most bookstores were asking. The story is fun, and short for a Babar book. Written in the 70's by Laurent De Brunhoff (second generation De Brunhoff), it tells the tale of meeting another "culture" from another planet: a big theme at the time of early space exploration. The illustrations colorful and creative. I am happy with the description from the vendor, the price, the quick and well packaged shipping. Everything came together beautifully. I couldn't be happier. Thank you.

My mother bought a bunch of these books for my 3 yr old because she remembered how much I loved them as a child. These are great books for introducing concepts such as imagination, manners, and friendships to young children. My son is thrilled with this book and I look forward to adding to his Babar collection!
