I searched for months for a TV stand that could handle a relatively large plasma in a limited corner space... and this is the only one that really nailed what I was looking for. Stand comes with various fittings to accommodate various sizes & brands of flat panel TVs. I put a 42" Panasonic G10 Plasma that I got from Amazon on it. The lower bracket of the stand covered the connection inputs and squeezed the power cord on that particular TV... so I whipped out my Fein Multi-Master tool that I got from Amazon and cut off about 7 3/4" from lower bracket that was covering TV connections, and also notched out relief for the power cord... worked like a dream. Stand alone weighs about 125 pounds, making for a really solid and secure base for large flat panel TVs. A top-notch stand & great customer service from Crutchfield. Highly recommend!
