For $50 bucks, you get what you paid for.

The batteries tend to die very quickly, so always keep a few AAA batteries with you, and when the batteries start to go low, it starts altering the images you take, skewing them slightly.

You can only zoom AFTER the picture is taken, not before, so make sure you stand exactly where you need to.

I like the fact that it also works as a webcam, I haven't used that feature yet. Also I like the SD card reader, you can always empty out all the pictures almost immediately, either by connecting the camera to your PC, or taking out the SD card and dumping it into your machine.

all an all its pretty good for $50, but only expect to do the very basic with it, if your looking for something that will allow you to take AMAZING pictures, then this is not for you. This is good as a "practice" camera, its simply, easy to work, and fun to have when your out with a bunch of friends just goofing of.

So if you just need something to take quick pictures of your friends during a day at the zoo, this would be good for you, just keep those extra batteries handy, especially if your going to use the flash.

This is a great starter digital camera for kids, I bought it for my niece who is 10 years old it has a very decent back screen to view your pictures and all of the features are easily understood, also for younger kids it comes with a wrist band to keep your camera from slipping out of your hands very good introduction to the world of digital photography.

It isn't an automatic flash ..pics aren't good & batterys don't last long at all. I bought this for my 7 yr old grand daughter who has used her mom's camera very well but this was a big disappointment. I now have to buy her a better camera.

I like the camera for the pictures and the zoom lense but it eats batteries like crazy even when it is turned off. You can only take a few pictures before replacing the batteries. I bought rechargeable batteries but even these run down before you take a few pictures. Very disappointed.

We bought this as a first camera for our 12 year old daughter. She has used my camera and loves to make videos with her friends, so she is fairly experienced with a digital camera. First discouraging feature is no sound on the videos during play-back. The software includes a video editing program, but we have yet to figure out how to get it to work. When changing the flash feature, which defaults to no flash whenever you make any feature changes, it takes several seconds for the change to process. The manual is little help and we haven't even tried to contact customer service. Overall, disappointing and discouraging[...]. We would have been better off investing in a more expensive well-known brand.

I bought one of these VQ5115 cameras for my granddaughter and when it worked at all the image quality was pathetic. It finally would not at all - had all sorts of problems. kept saying the battery was bad and shut down. I wrote to Vistaquest about it and received no reply whatsoever. What a scam. I just replaced it with a Kodak. Stick with a name brand and save your $ and heartache.

I like this camera. I believe that it has a pretty good quality for it's price. They say you get what you pay for, and it's the truth. This camera does have some lighting issues, and I seem to have to take batteries out if I'm not using it or they die. Picture quality is pretty good, so I can't complain.

I got the camera on time, but it is not what I expected. It runs VERY SLOW and its picture quality is not very good. I can take better pictures with a disposable camera. DO NOT buy this!!

This camera was a good first camera for a my kid. Not for adults that are looking for quality photos. but it did what it was soppose to do.

I got a real good deal on Amazon for this camera and I was not disappointed in its performance, although, I did have to replace the battery when I got it. Apparently it had been on the store shelf a long, long time.
