This review is from: The Visual Basic.NET Style Guide: The Essential Companion for Development Teams and Individuals (Paperback)
The book has a very good chapter on Ethics and Honesty which is why I purchaed it. I was really hoping this book would be like Strunk & White's "Elements of Style" is for English, but it is not. Patrick could give more examples of good style. The author's tone sometimes gets too "preachy" in that I feel like I'm being reprimanded or lectured to. The back cover says the book grew out of the author's experience with both troubled and succesful software projects. The troubled project influence comes through loud and clear. I wish he would have given more examples of what the successful ones were doing.
