This movie about Easter and Christ's crucifixion and resurrection is terrific for most 7-14 yr olds. Some of the scenes are a little too graphic for younger eyes. Judge Reinhold is someone the kids will recognize from The Santa Clause movies (he plays Neil, the one in the sweaters). Video shows kids having no interest in Christ's death and what it means to them. Then Reinhold narrates and brings the story to life and makes them think about it. Movie is written as fiction with the Bible woven in. Very simple way to show kids the story of Christ's life, death, and resurrection. Not too graphic like Passion of the Christ, but not too elementary either.
