This handy, pocket-sized `Visual Dictionary' contains brief descriptions of over 250 terms that students of Interior Architecture or Design will almost certainly come across during their studies and future careers.
The terms range from names of influential designers and types of materials to architectural features such as the `Balustrade' and various examples of the `Column'. Brief explanations of several types of architectural styles are also included, ranging from `Byzantine' and `Classical' to `Modernism' and `Deconstruction'. Each term is accompanied by eye-catching photographs, drawings and diagrams, making this book a lot more interesting than most dictionaries!
