This book appears to have been written for FoxPro 2.6 for Windows. When VFP appeared, the chapters where slightly modified, but the bulk of the book concerns FoxPro 2.6 and is useless for VFP programming. On that count, I really think that the reader is being deliberately ripped off. This really should be the last book you should get - there are many other excellent ones out there.
