About the Author
Alex Dmitrienko is a clinical statistician at Eli Lilly and Company in Indianapolis, IN. He has about 15 years of SAS programming experience and has been working closely with SAS Institute and SAS Press over the past four years on two books in the Books by Users Series. The first book, Analysis of Clinical Trials: A Practical Guide , was published in March 2005 and the other book, Pharmaceutical Statistics , will likely be published in 2006. He has been using SAS Enterprise Guide for three years and recently co-founded the Business Intelligence SAS Users Group (http://www.bisug.org).
