Visual Land's V-Clip Pro is a clip-on MP3 player, but they pack in more than just a few basics: get playback of your MP3/WMA/WAV files, FM radio, voice recording, USB storage, and more--all in a package weighing just over a half ounce.
Weighing in at just over half an ounce, the V-Clip is light enough that you'll forget it's there. The built-in clip lets you snap it onto your clothing, bag, etc., and easily take it anywhere. This makes the V-Clip ideal for exercise or other activities where you don't want a bulky media player bothering you, or if you don't want to wear an uncomfortable armband or other solution.
Despite the V-Clip only being just 2.38 x 1.19 x 0.63 inches, Visual Land managed to fit in an anti-scratch three-line LCD screen for seeing track info and easily navigating device features.
Play back your favorite MP3/WMA files with easy-to-use controls, complete with various playback modes and additional support for uncompressed WAV files.
With 4 GB of memory, you'll have room for about 1,000 songs--that ought to be enough to get you through a workout. Of course, thanks to the MicroSD card slot you can always expand your memory or swap out different cards for different situations.
On a full charge, you'll get about a whole day--24 hours--of playback time. The unit charges through your USB port or USB power adapter.
Sometimes you want to share your tunes quickly with friends, and there's no stereo around to plug into. The V-Clip Pro's built-in speaker lets you do just that.
Catch up on the news or listen to your favorite stations on the built-in FM radio--or tune into one of the FM TV transmitters at the gym. Store your favorite stations for quick access.
Need to capture a quick voice memo, or even a meeting or lecture? Use the built-in microphone to record for later. You can also record live FM radio to remember a tune for later, or save a program for later enjoyment.
You can also use the V-Clip Pro to take a few important files with you, since it doubles as a Flash drive.

Cheap but really bad UI,

The MP3 is cheap but for a reason. I primarily bought it for its speakers but don't go for the speakers: they are useless.
The User interface is terrible. It does not remember the last selected mode so even if you were listening to music before turning it off last, next time you turn it on, you need to select the Music mode again. Worst issue: the player goes into sleep mode when you put pause the player for more than a minute or so. Once that happens, there's no way it will wake up again. You have to turn off the power, turn it on again and select the music mode again to get back to listening your songs. And your ordeal does not stop here. It won't consistently remember the last song you were listening to. There is sleep mode setting in settings mode but that gets reset to zero every time the player is turned off. The company needs to seriously fix the User interface before bringing such a product to market. I bought a Sansa Clip+ too and after using that the shortcomings of this player are even more obvious.

I own several MP3 players, so I had certain minimum expectations: I wanted to be able to stop and start from where I left of, and I wanted to be able to control the volume up and down with a single button. This MP3 player does not do either of these simple functions. If someone figured out how to do either of these functions, I would greatly appreciate a response via comments with your tips.Below is complete run down of my likes and dislikes for the player. I liked: 1. The clip on the player is very nice, I like being able to clip it to anything (update: it broke off after 2 months of occasional use) 2. I like having a speaker in addition to the earphones. Granted it is not a great speaker, but sometimes you want to continue listening without the earphones and it is handy 3. Nice size 4. Controls are reasonably easy to use, even though the screen is very small and text is tiny and hard to see, but controls themselves are solid 5. You recharge the unit either by plugging into USB port of the computer, or to the included recharger with USB port. This little recharger might be the best part of the package. I already used it to recharge my phone. I don't like: 1. When you stop listening, the device has no memory where you left off and you have to remember and navigate to the same place using the tiny screen. This is almost a deal breaker for me, as I want to listen to recorded lectures and finding the place where I left off is very difficult. 2. You can make volume control louder with a press of one button, but I did not found a way to lower the sound with one button. I found how to do it by navigating the controls though several levels of menus. When you are out and about it is difficult as the screen is small and I can't see the menus well, and if you are in the sun - forget it. I found that I can lower the volume by pulling the earphone a bit out of my ear. This is how I have been doing it - pretty crude. 3. As I mentioned the screen is small, the text is small and faint, it is hard to see in good light, not possible to use in the sun light. Note: what you see in the stock photo is not real text, but a plastic screen cover with printed text. I only wish the text was so big and bright as that image. 4. The recharger does not indicate when the unit is fully charged. It has a red light which stays on red (apparently indicating that it is plugged in only), it never turns green as I expected to tell me the unit is fully charged. I left it plugged it for over 24 hours. (see attached photo) 5. It is very hard to see when the unit is charged or lower on charge. It has tiny bars somewhere on the display, but they are very hard to see because they are so small. My other units take regular AAA, so I can just carry a spare AAA battery and replace it when it is out juice, but not with this unit. You need to plan ahead when to recharge it, but planning is not easy when it is hard to see that the unit is low. 6. The manual is useless, it does not have much information. There is a version of the manual loaded on the MP3 it self or you can down load a "full" version from the web site. I read both, they are almost identical. The full version has more legal disclaimers. However, as example, neither tells you that the menu button is the "execute" key. It is the key which you need to push to complete the operation. You have to figure that out on your own. I bought this unit as a lightening deal, so at that discounted price of $17 I am keeping it as a backup. But I would not buy it again and I cannot recommend it. 7/20/11 After two months of occasional use, the only feature that I really liked - the clip - broke off. One of the two little plastic pegs on the back that hold the clip completely broke off. I was gently opening the clip to attach it to my shirt. 10/19/11 I bought another MP3 player which I am very happy with SanDisk Sansa Clip+ 4 GB MP3 Player (Black), Visual Land V-Clip is in the trash. The only thing I use from this purchase is the recharger, which I like because of its slim configuration (it takes only one slot on the power strip).

Cheap compact audio player,
This review is from: Visual Land V-Clip Pro 4 GB MP3 Player with Speaker (Black) (Electronics)
Got this as a gift because I wanted an ultra portable FM player. This thing is light and only about an inch and a half long. Works great when I go out running, as it doesn't weigh me down, and provides ample volume so I block out the world around me. My music collection is over 16gb, so I can't store all my music, but I have enough room to store my favorite songs. UI is simple - only the technologically challenged may have difficulty using it.
