Same idea here, I have a Big Muff that I wanted to power with the same chain as the rest of my pedals. Here's the only problem and thank god I didn't take it back because of this: if you're using an extension line off your power supply, don't put the pedal(s) you need to power with this thing on that part of the line cuz the power may not reach. So, good thing that I thought of that cuz yeah not only am I one cord down in my rig then but also, being that everything's now run off the same power supply, it's obviously cutting down on signal hum.

I bought a used Electro Harmonix Big Muff pi and I couldn't power it with the regular 9V daisy chain I run to my pedal board, so I bought this adaptor, plugged it in, and there was the Big Muff in all its glory. It was just what I needed - no more, no less.

I used this converter to extend my string of effect pedals using the 1 Spot cable. My old, old, old DOD pedals only accept the 1/8" power input, so I needed another converter. I really like the 1 Spot product.
