A picture is worth a thousand calculations,
By Thomas W. Roeber (Portland, Maine, USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Visualized Flow: Fluid motion in basic and engineering situations revealed by flow visualization (Thermodynamics and Fluid Mechanics for Mechanical Engineers) (Paperback)
This is an excellent book for anyone involved in fluid mechanics or just interested in how fluids work. There are pictures for every type of fluid flow you can imagine, with special visualization techniques to allow you to see what is actually happening. I pull it out on a regular basis to review or to show someone else what is happening, to put some understanding behind pressure drop or flow calculations.
