Tremendous and Tragic,

From the first song (un nuovo giorno un giorno nuovo) to the last (Notte di note) this was a tremendous day in the life of italy's premier cantautore and his career. This is an emotional rolloercoaster of an album. It is sad that baglioni has never realized anything remotely resembling the quality of this album since. The last words of the last song are prophetic "si dormentera quella parte del cuore". Baglioni's creative heart has been asleep for 15 years since this masterpiece.

Reaches in and grabs your soul,

The title track to this CD is by far one of the most entrancing songs in any language. Without even understanding the words, one comprehends the message Baglioni conveys. I first heard this album in 1985 and still it reverberates within the soul.

If you could have only one italian music CD, this would be the one to buy. It is incredible! Claudio is, without a doubt, the best italian singer and composer. Other incredible CDs are E tu come estai and Io sono qui.

This Album Got Me Hooked,

I was stationed in Italy from 1984-1987. I purchased this album and I have worn it out. It is truly a masterpiece. Claudio Baglioni is my favorite Italian music artist, and I have continued to buy his music (now CD's). You will enjoy this CD tremendously. It is romantic, dramatic, and unforgetable.
