I bought a lot of boxes of vita coco from Amazon these past few months due to the sale/special offers lately. 2 boxes (both were the small size) tasted great! (1 carton had a weird taste).

I said whatever and bought the larger size. YUCK! I drank the first two and they tasted sour. I compared them side by side with the other vita coco I had (the smaller cartons) and these taste really different. I opened a few more to try, and some were okay, and others sour.

UGH. I don't care how good some of these boxes are! If they vary this much, it's not worth it to me to try again.

I emailed vita coco and told them about this and they told me they had a bad batch. The rep then mailed me a free box of 12 cartons. This batch was good! (They sent me some funky flavors instead of the original though...still nice of them).

I can drink a couple of these a day! I am glad the 17oz comes with a cap. Easier to store them once you open a pack. I've ordered VitaCoco, One and Zico. I find VitaCoco brand to have the best flavor. Best served chilled.
I bought three cases of these on Fri and it was at my door step today (Monday) with my prime account. Had a problem with one of the box. Upon opening the amazon box, I see that one of the case was already opened and few of packs were damaged and leaking. I called Amazon right away and they resolved it right away.
As the title says, great product and great service! thanks amazon.

I prefer this resealable package over the 11oz..and by the way, the other reviewers are mad!
Perhaps they have never had fresh BRAZILIAN coco water before and are used to asian coco water which is sugary and watered down and completely industralized. I am from north of Brazil and can tell you this is what fresh young brazilian coconut water should taste like.
And how can anyone complain about the packaging? Makes no sense. Who could dislike a resealable, environmental friendly package!?
Overall, I am very satisfied and will continue to order this brand on subscribe and save. 3 boxes a month.

Half of them arrived with broken packages and the remaining ones did not taste good at all.. Some of them have mold around the cap inside the bottles. complete waste of money.

In response to a previous reviewer who questioned the potassium content of the coconut water, please see the product description: "High in potassium, fat free, cholesterol free, and low in acidity, no sugar, Contains five essential electrolytes--potassium, magnesium, calcium, sodium, and phosphorous" -- which makes coconut water a superior pre- or post-workout drink compared to other popular sugar-laden, artificial color-added ones (you know who you are). I drink my Vita Coco chilled either right from the box to quench my thirst after a long run or I mix it into a delicious, awesomely nutritious smoothie with frozen bananas, papayas, strawberries, mangoes...whatever fruit you have on hand. You can also make a super-nutritious green smoothie by simply adding a tablespoon of Greener Grasses or Vitamineral Green to a cup of the coconut water and giving it a good whirl in the Vita-Mix. Excellent! And with Amazon's free shipping and subscription discounts, the value can't be beat.

I grew up in southern India where water from tender coconut is sold by street vendors and it is drunk straight from the coconut. It is the most refreshing drink, containing electrolytes for very hot weathers over there. Gatorade and other artificial drinks are very poor substitutes.

After having tried the canned coconut waters available in Asian stores, I had given up on coconut water for a decade until I chanced upon these. They are expensive, but it is amazing that one could bottle "authenticity"! No artificial additives, no sugars, no pulps, nothing!

It is so good that I don't want to try the mixed varieties that they have. Nothing but pure coconut water for me.

Not as good as O.N.E. brand. Has weird taste -- like it came from old coconut, not fresh. Grew up in the tropics so i could tell the difference between a young and old coconut.

These are about $1.60 a box at walmart. You might check there first. They stock them at my local WM in the back with the packaged Monsters, Redbull, and sodas stuffs. FYI :)

I love Vita Coco 100% Pure Coconut Water, especially on a hot day. It is the best "sports drink" you can get, because it does "hydrate every cell in your body." It is a pure, unadulterated, unmanipulated healthy drink, that perks you up. The 17oz. size is handy to take along in the car or pack for lunch. Great for leg cramps cuz of the high potasium content. Better than a banana and less calories. Better than water - totally quenches thirst!!!

Just received the shipment yesterday. One of the bottles had broken during the transport, leaving the shipping box ruined.
The taste is o.k., but not spectacular. The label lists the ingredient as "Natural coconut water", so I'm not sure what the previous poster has seen about potassium added to the water, as there's no indication on the label.
I might buy one or two of these at the time at the store, but not necessarily much more than that.
