This review is from: Vital Signs: Anticipating, Preventing and Surviving a Crisis in a Nonprofit (Perfect Paperback)
Vital Signs is an excellent must-read resource for all nonprofit managers, board members and counsel. In a no-nonsense manner, it discusses how to avoid problems (always the best!), how to identify and halt potential problems rising on the horizon, and how to deal with problems once they have hit.

But PLEASE..... buy and read this book in advance. To wait until the non-profit is actually in the middle of a crisis is sort of like waiting until you have a heart attack before deciding to lose weight: still a good idea, but now a little late to avoid a bad situation.
