5.0 out of 5 stars Love these!
I love all of the Vitalicious chocolate products I've tried so far - the deep chocolate Vita Muffins, the Vita Brownies, and now these Fudgy Peanut Butter Vita Tops. They're delicious and satisying and do make for a small but filling snack. I highly recommend them. I tried the banana nut and one of the bran (cran-bran, maybe - can't remember) Vita Muffins and didn't...

2.0 out of 5 stars mmmmm not this time
I love the Vitalicious products. Love chocolate and peanut butter. It's too bad that this product falls short for me. The "peanut butter" is in globs of pseudo -peanut butter chips that have a flat, dull peanut butter flavor that doesn't stand up to the chocolate cake. I avoid even buying the sampler packs with these in them as I know they will live in the freezer...

They're delicious and satisying and do make for a small but filling snack. I highly recommend them. I tried the banana nut and one of the bran (cran-bran, maybe - can't remember) Vita Muffins and didn't care for them at all. However, the chocolate products are fantastic! Don't compare them to traditional, fatty muffins and brownies, though, or you will be disappointed. They're still very tasty in their own right, and I used them as a nice end of day treat.

5.0 out of 5 stars 100 cal yummy diet food, January 16, 2009
This review is from: Vitalicious Fudgy Peanut Butter Vita Tops , 2-Ounce Units (Pack of 24) (Grocery)
I love these vita tops they are "muffin tops" they don't taste like muffins.. they don't taste like tops either, lol. what they kinda taste like is chocolate, peanut butter chips (not a lot of peanut butter chips). they are a dense cake, slightly chewy. will definitely make you full after eating just one (if you have been drinking enough water)...

I must remind all potential buyers that this is a "diet food" so wear your dieters tongue when you try them for the first time. You are not going to get a chocolate chip dunkin dounuts muffin! on the bright side they don't fall apart like the DD muffins!

REMEMBER, lot of reviewers complain of Vitalcious products being "dry" or "moldy"...you MUST store Vitalicious cakes in the freezer. You can take a few out at a time and put them in the refrigerator, but only for a few days. You can microwave frozen ones for 30 seconds or so, or microwave the refrigerated ones for 10 seconds for a warm treat. Read the label! Enjoy!

5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome Treat ... but Full of Good Things!!!!, February 8, 2009

You really can't let these go by unnoticed! They are NOT just some other "diet food"... they are really in a category all their own! They are chocked full of all kinds of vitamins, high fiber, are only 100 calories, keep great in your freezer and are the answer for the worst Chocoholic in the need of a "fix". :-) Sure you can eat all the unhealthy stuff and feel all bloated & guilty; but have one of these and know you are doing something good for your body and it tastes GREAT at the same time!!

1.0 out of 5 stars Skip the "Skippy!", March 25, 2010
This review is from: Vitalicious Fudgy Peanut Butter Vita Tops , 2-Ounce Units (Pack of 24) (Grocery)
I love Vitatops and decided to try a sampler package to taste the flavors I can't find in local grocery stores. After reading the reviews, I thought there might be some exaggerations about the odd taste of the peanut butter chocolate Vitatops. Since I'd enjoyed the Double Chocolate ones so much, I couldn't imagine how much worse the peanut butter chips could taste.

I will add my two cents' worth now, and discourage anyone from buying this flavor. While I loved the Mint Chocolate and Triple Chocolate varieties, and have yet to try the Banana Chocolate ones, the peanut butter chips taste like burnt mustard, totally ruining the taste of the Vitatop.

So skip the "Skippy!"

2.0 out of 5 stars Way too dry!, October 10, 2009
This review is from: Vitalicious Fudgy Peanut Butter Vita Tops , 2-Ounce Units (Pack of 24) (Grocery)
I am a huge fan of Vitalicious Deep Chocolate Vita tops, so I thought I'd try this flavor considering I am a HUGE peanut butter fan. I took these out of the freezer like I do all others, to let them thaw, or place them in the microwave to get them defrosted. This flavor is SO dry, I can't even adequately describe it. The Deep Chocolate are SO moist and delicious, but these are a true disappointment, I will not be ordering this flavor again. I am on Weight Watchers and so far have lost over 22 pounds and these are a HUGE help when I get a chocolate craving, plus, they are a decent size. There is nothing peanut buttery about this flavor either, the chips are suppose to be peanut butter, but the taste does NOT come through. Take my advice, buy the Deep Chocolate, you will NOT be let down. They are pricey, but buying them on Amazon will at least save you the shipping costs, plus right now there is a 15 percent off sale! Can't beat it.

I have ordered these several times from Amazon and Vitalicious. Amazon always ships them super fast and they arrive fresh and in perfect condition. They have a great deal on them here, too.

I love Vitatops - delicious although pricey. I feel like I'm having a treat without doing harm to my daily diet.
Only 100 calories and 6g of fiber (1 pt on Weight Watchers if you check that).

My only negative about these particular items is that there are hardly any PB chips in them and they are usually concentrated in one spot on the top. However, still delicious!

Cheaper to get these on Amazon usually than to buy in the grocery store.

I love these vitatops but as another viewer stated, they are a little cheaper in the grocery store. The problem is most grocery stores don't have a variety of flavors so I am stuck buying them here.
