In April 2008, 6 months ago i suffered a closed head injury resulting in a disturbance of my eyes. While i still could see, only one eye would work at a time, while the other shut down unable to process information. My eyes would not work together, and they had a great difficulty in adjusting focal length so that movement of any kind was very difficult to process. I was told that there was an imbalance in the cranial sacral fluid causing pressure in the occipital lobe. Some how i stumbled on an article saying that this kind of machine helped balance cranial sacral fluid. I had nothing to lose and felt guided to try this...In an amazing short two weeks, i am much better able to process motion. my eyes are beginning to read together, and i can be in a car now with my eyes open for several minutes at a time. WHile this may sound like a tiny improvement, it feels so huge to me. Six months of impaired vision really has been hard. With the great help of my chiropractic doctor who also does cranial work things were definitely improving, this machine took my recovery to an instant next step. The eye visual field of view test came back showing that my peripheral vision is returning... my accupuncturist today said that my water element felt amazing, and strong.. water governs the feeling of being well rested... I tell you this has been one of the most amazing health devices i have ever tried... go for it... and see what it can do for you.

I use the Chi Vitalizer morning and night and believe it is responsible for letting me sleep through the night without waking every few hours. I am more relaxed and comfortable before going to sleep after I use the machine.

I bought this machine for my 86 year old father who no longer can walk due to many causes.
He complained so much about his arthritis, also suffers with parkinson's that he refused to do any kind of movements. I needed to find something that would help him. After reading several reviews, I thought that I would take a chance.
I am so glad that I did. I started him slowly from 1 minute @ the slowest speed, now it's 15 minutes at a time still at a slow speed. He sometimes ask for another 15 minutes since he found some relief. He's not as stiff as he has been. He is able to move his legs, where even with therapy nothing had helped him. It's been about 2 months that he's using the Chi Vitalizer Machine. I'm glad that I found it.
Even though it sells for a great deal through other sellers but I'm glad that I checked out the sellers on Amazon. I bought it for a great deal less & shipment was super fast. I feel that it could possibly be a miracle machine.

I have always been curious about these machines and finally have the opportunity to experiment. After using the chi machine for 15 minutes I noticed increased vitality and better circulation. During use I found myself releasing those areas in the body that tend to energetically `hold on' and cause chronic tension/stress. A very important feature with this model is it's wide range of swinging speeds (I prefer the subtle, gentle speed) to select with a rotating dial on a hand-held controller. This model has a very comfortable, padded rest for the ankles (unlike other similar models), no loud timer, and a built in handle for easy travel. I highly recommend this product. AllAboutMassagers was professional and packaging was perfect.

Almost 18 months ago I purchased the Chi Vitalizer. My legs had been swollen and I was having to wrap them everyday-through the day and when I woke up, where in the past the swelling had gone away-- it wasn't. I was afraid that this was my future. I went to a local store (I live in Hawaii) and found the Chi Machine for sale there. I went back the next day and bought it-and from that day on after using the Chi-Machine I have not had to wrap my legs once. My back, which had tightened up from sitting in a chair working at a desk, continues to loosen up.

I use my unit first thing in the morning and last thing before I go to bed. Often when I travel to the Mainland I will bring it in my suitcase to maintain my daily use. I have recommended to friends they include this in their health plan and they consistently report great results. There is a warranty on the unit so as I seen it, no downside, only upside. This has so improved the quality of my life, no more edema, no more pain in my legs. Oh the swelling in my feet has gone down so I can wear nice leather shoes again.

I tried the "original chi machine" but it was too expensive IMO. In the end I watched a review on youtube and this one came up trumps.

Its variable speed is great so you to work up slowly to a good speed rather that deal with a set value which might not suit. I also like the padding on the ankle grips... this was probably my main gripe with the previous one I tried. Padding is essential, although some of you may still want to put more padding down, like a towel or something.

The feeling you get when it stops is kinda weird and very relaxing. For those of you with mad lifestyles and only a few minutes a day to relax, get on this thing. The routine is short, you can do it anywhere you can carry it (it has a handle) and it forces you to let go a bit. If you don't relax your body and work against the flow of the machine its uncomfortable, but go with the flow and you'll have a cool experience.

Finally, it seems to put me in a good mood afterwards. Kinda focused too. Yeah, not bad.

If you're looking for a well built, comfortable "chi" machine that should last for years, then this is a good one for you to buy.

However, don't fall for the hype that this machine can cure ailments, counts as exercise, or even that "chi" is involved. The motion of your elevated legs forces blood to your upper back, shoulders, neck and head. After 15 minutes, the machine stops and you feel a rush - it's nice. If you put your legs down immediately, you lose the rush as your bloods returns to the lower sections of the body. You're feeling the blood rush, not "chi".

Although not as nice as a proper massage, the rush of blood to the upper back/shoulders feels nice and relieves tension - so that may be worth the price alone for some people.

As for the machine itself, here are some pros and cons:
Pros:
-Appears well built
-Ankle cradle is very comfortable
-Operates quietly
-Simple remote

Cons:
-No adjustable timer
-At higher speeds, your legs can fly off the cradle

I bought one 2 weeks ago for my 70ish parents based on outstanding recommendations from her relative who has been using it for more than 1 year. My parents absolutely love their chi vitalizer! So much, in fact, that we are now ordering 3 MORE for other relatives and their friends. My Mom swears that it helps her with her aches and pains and also has flatten her tummy! My Dad said it helps he sleeps better, no more waking up in the middle of the night.

However, rumor has it that machines made in Japan is of a better quality and the motor lasts much longer while ones made in China break sooner. My parents and aunt were concerned that this chi machine is made in Taiwan. I called the company and was told that the original machines were made in Japan but production has since moved to Taiwan in order to reduce cost. If anyone can shed additional light on this, please share your info.

I've had misalignment issues in my lower back. I've tried everything to stretch it and relax it, all to no avail. I tried this product and it nicely gives movement to that area as well as to the whole spine in general, depending on whether it is the low or high revolution setting.
I can't speak to it's effect on the chi in my body, (I've studied qigong) but I find the 15 to 30 minute sessions to be very relaxing. An added benefit is the motion to the abdominal area which mimics parastolic movement and has aided in my bowel regularity.
All in all, I like it and have used it twice daily for over a month, once in the morning and once in the evening. I like it.

I use this about once a day before I go to bed. I LOVE it!!! I have low back problems associated with my discs between L4/L5 and between L5/S1. Also my sciatic nerves runs through my pereformace (sp wrong) muscle and causes me low back pain as well. This has helped to alleviate it the pain I've struggled with for years! I have been going to a chiropractor for years for this issue and have never felt as good as I have since getting this!
