I've been using vitamin c based serums for over 5 years now with great results, including a more youthful, toned complexion compared to my peers. I initially used Cellex C, which was somewhat effective but oxidized (turned darker orange in color) relatively quickly. I then moved on to Skinceuticals due to the inclusion of ferulic acid (an antioxidant that also provides photo-protection) in their formula. Unfortunately both Cellex C and Skinceuticals are extremely expensive, almost prohibitively so when using long term and I have been unable to find a viable alternative. Until I decided to try this serum that is.

This serum contains not only the correct form of Vitamin C, at an effective concentration (20%), but also ferulic acid. In addition the product arrived without any hint of discoloration meaning that the serum was fresh, it also appears to maintain its freshness for a longer period of time compared to other serums I have used, although this may just mean that this serum arrives in a fresher state to start with.

The texture and feel on the skin is extremely similar to the Skinceuticals product, which is a good thing, as some other serums (Obagi C serum for instance) are a little too heavy and contain unnecessary added fragrance.

Finally, when factoring in the often dramatic price difference compared to certain other C serums (Skinceuticals for example), choosing this product is a no brainer. Highly recommended.

This product is amazing. It has become a staple in my skincare routine. I have gotten many compliments since using it! I'm a repeat customer and the serum has gradually improved the appearance of my skin -- diminishing fine lines and wrinkles, smoothing the texture and leaving it feeling supple and looking younger. As an avid beauty product researcher and writer, I have tried MANY skincare products, many of which cost over $100, and nothing has compared to this serum. I highly recommend it.

I purchased this about 2 and half months ago and recently finished the bottle. I also want to add that some of the product spilled so this does last for a long time. Also, in that time span the serum was still very clear which means oxidation didn't take place! (Vitamin C Serums should always be stored in a cool dark place, which I followed)

Texture wise, even though it is a serum, it was easy to apply and not extremely watery like the NuFountain Vitamin C Serum. So, you can just use the dropper and squeeze a few drops on your face and neck without using additional product.

I can't say I saw significant results as I only used one bottle-for my hyperpigmentation. But I noticed my skin has gotten a little brighter. Friends and family have also noticed that my melasma has faded a bit. This alone, I don't think it will brighten or even skin tone drastically. But it's good for anti-aging.

If it helps, I am a woman of color with dark skin.

I loved this product. But the price of this and the tendency for it to oxidize rather quickly has sent me looking for alternatives. I now make my own fresh batches of vitamin C serum at a tiny fraction of the cost. There are many recipes online. Be certain to buy only L-Ascorbic acid and not regular ascorbic acid or it won't absorb.

If you don't want to go to the trouble of making your own, this product was great and didn't oxidize for over 3 months.

The first time I started to use Vitamin C was through a dermatologist's recommendation (Sept 2009). She prescribed Vitamin C for my face and a bottle of pigmentation cream (that has a pungent smell)... I used it and found it to be great... but the price was too pricey for me.. so I went on line to search for alternatives and chance upon Cosmetic Skin Solution Vitamin C 20 AOX+ serum. The price is really reasonable and I ordered a bottle to try. I was very happy with the result and best of all , the product is better than the one that the doctor prescribe me! It is 3 times cheaper too! :) My skin glows and feel smooth .. I am finishing my second bottle (30ml) and I have just ordered 60ml X 2 bottles in my last mail.

I have used Vit C serum products for a few years but always like to try out products to find one that is better than the last... This product has more ingredients than the other products I've used and it just doesn't absorb into my skin as readily as the singular Vit C products do, thus I gave it a three star.

I had high hopes for this product, but unfortunately it was not right for my skin. It made me break out and had to stop using it after a week. I cannot review how well it works since I did not use it for long enough, but I'm disappointed I couldn't use it unless I wanted acne.

This is good stuff. I use about 5 drops every morning on my face, neck and chest. It soaks in and leaves my skin glowing. I store it in my fridge to make it last and keep it fresh. I previously used the C+E ferulic acid serum, but their customer service said they were almost identical, except for the vitamin e. I am next going to try their phloretin, and if that doesn't work noticeably better I will go back to this one.

I have acne prone skin and when I read that this was safe for that I decided to buy it but everytime I use it I get new cystic acne. It just wasn't for me.

The combination of vitamin C and hyaluronic acid is what prompted me to purchase this product, as I have been using it separately.
I apply it morning and evening; it's non-drying and not the least bit sticky. It is a steal at the price and a bottle lasts about 6 weeks.
