1.0 out of 5 stars Misleading advertising, unresponsive customer support
Do not purchase from The Vitamin Shoppe on Amazon. They use misleading advertising, are unresponsive, will not stand behind their word.

4.0 out of 5 stars you will never convince me this is a placebo, November 27, 2007
This product works for my knees. It works on my mom's arthritice. Both of those things could be the placebo effect... but it also fixed my dog's arthritic hip. She went from being practically bed ridden to playing on the beach like she hadn't for 6 years. Pretty sure it wasn't a case of faith healing.

4.0 out of 5 stars Important supplement for (aging) runners, February 28, 2007
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
It's strictly a personal preference, but as an (aging) runner, I definitely believe that my joints reap the benefits of this supplement. While it is featured here at a reasonably fair price, I don't like that the dosage prescribed is 2 tablets, 3x daily. That's a little too frequently for me!

1.0 out of 5 stars Panned by Latest Research, April 20, 2007
I used to think this helped me, but quit taking it because of fear of clogged arteries. No difference in joint pain. Now Swiss researches have concluded it has little/no value in reducing arthritis pain - confirming an NIH conclusion in 2005. On the good side, however, researchers also said that there is a strong placebo effect in helping arthritis pain - so, if you believe in it enough, . . .
