A few years ago, I found Opera #2 on a news site, watched Vitas rock one out of the park, and immediately emailed the video to every email address I had. After that, I found no more news about him in the USA until this summer. I followed links to YouTube, and swallowed him hook, line, and sinker. And now I'm the fish!

I have searched for every snippet of Vitas, and enjoyed how thoroughly gorgeous and entertaining he is. I am eagerly awaiting the premiere of "La Donna e Mobile" on his official website (English version) [...]. There is a photo gallery for it, as well as a fragment of the new MV for it. We can also download "Light of a New Day". This is new, and consists of 40 minutes of the most beautiful voice you've ever heard accompanied by various instrumentals. It soothes the soul. I'm not making this up. Professional therapists use the music of Vitas as music therapy to treat various stages of depression and alcoholism, and has shown to lower blood pressure.

I can only exclaim over and over how exuberant and joyful it is to experience Vitas! Try him; you'll feel the same. I highly recommend buying this product, and sharing this ethereal ambiance with your friends, along with me, and all the world discovering his beauty.

I originally stumbled upon this artist via a youtube link that was forwarded to me and I've been hooked since. Vitas has a wonderful range and his music style ranges from Opera classics to world pop to ballads. I love it all. This is the third album of his that I'm purchasing in as many months and as soon as new music of his is available I'll be quick to buy that as well!

Everybody should buy this CD, this guy is one of the best you will ever hear. His got an amazing voice. Is just great that the USA is discovering this guy.

Ever since I discovered Vitas, he is a part of my life. I can't live without his music! His voice is just amazing - pure, powerful, and beautiful. I am never tired of hearing this CD. His music videoes are also awesome. He is such a great artist who is talented in many ways. He is the treasure of the world, no doubt about it.

Great music by Vitas. Recording quality is relatively good, but sub-par for what you would expect on a CD. My personal favorites are Lucia Di Lammermoor, Opera Number 2 (which is falsely labeled as Opera Number 1 on the disc) and Shores of Russia.

My problem is this: when I placed my order on February 7th, the description Amazon had for this item included several other songs on the second disc, such as Vitas's version of "Ava Maria." When I received the item, I discovered the tracks on the DVD version were music video versions of the CD tracks. I went back to Amazon to discover, to my surprise, that the item's description had changed!

Odd, but whatever. Still some great music if you're into Vitas.

While many of my friends tell me his voice sounds like nails on chalkboards, I have to dispute that. His voice is different from most male vocalists being that he is a counter alto and has a five octave range. Vitas is not only beautiful to listen to, but to watch as well. I look forward to much more from this young man and anticipate his arrival in the USA for singing tours. His mix of opera with techno, rock and pop is incredibly well done and the showmanship is exceptional.

Vitas is the greatest singer/performer ever. His voice is incredible and his videos and live performances mezmerizing.

This particular release is great because the videos have English and Spanish subtitles for those who cannot understand Russian. But you will not care if you can understand a word when you hear this incredible voice!

I first saw Vitas on youtube. He is the best singer I've ever heard. He can sing high notes so high,forever,and in tune. Amazing! This CD/DVD set is great because the dvd has the english lyrics/subtitles, which is so nice for us Americans who love Vitas. Vitas writes his own songs and designs his concert costumes-he is an creative genius. This CD/DVD collection is just a small taste of his numerous songs and enormous talent. Please Amazon, sell Vitas concert DVD's too. We want to buy legit DVD's,(no bootlegs) of this awsome Russian/Latvian artist.

After seeing Vitas on youtube I just HAD to get my hands on the CD. I listen to it several times a day and just cant get enough of it. His singing is just awesome. I think I want to learn russian:-)

Trust me, if you're a music lover who's into different styles and creativity, then you'll LOVE this Vitas CD!!

I was looking for Josh Groban albums when I came across this artist. This album is so beautiful that I'm searching for more albums by Vitas. Very haunting!
