I have 3 of the Vittles Vault containers, the 25 lb container for the cat food, the larger 50 lb container for the dog food, and the Jr. size for the treats. The food stays fresh for weeks and I never have to worry about the pets trying to get into the containers (they destroyed the sterilite containers). The size and shape is also very convient. I have a friend whose Vittle Vault is almost 10 yrs old and still in great condition :)

However, FYI it does not always hold the amount of the food it is estimated for. It holds about 5-10 lbs less than what is stated, because of the different shapes in kibble. So my advice would be to order a size bigger than what you need. With bird seeds and grains it probably would hold the correct amount.

I bought this container a few months ago because I needed something to hold our dog's food. I needed something small enough to fit in a cabinet but big enough to put at least one big bag of dog food in. This container works perfectly! It's made of really thick plastic and the lid is easy to get on and off. I love it!
