I used Vittoria Pit Stop recently as a trial to see if I would be comfortable leaving my pump and spare tire behind for short trips. It worked perfectly to repair a small slow leak in my road bike rear tire. The obvious convenience of not having to remove the tire, fit the tube, remount the tire and then inflate was considerable. I then rode the bike for 10 miles without problems. The next morning the tire was almost flat again because the gas that inflates the tire is not air and dissipates. After re-inflating the tire with my pump the repair has lasted a month so far and appears to be a permanent fix. This is a great and convenient product for small punctures. For long trips, you will need to carry the usual repair equipment as this product is not meant for large punctures or tears.

I bought two cans of this thinking this would solve any small cuts while on the road. Not so, had a small thorn stick in the tire (and I mean small thorn)This stuff just flowed out the needle size hole. I am using the other can for what it is truly made for, a nice tree ornament
