I bought Vittorio's CD out of curiousity and have never regretted it!
He has an absolutely wonderful voice!!! He makes singing sound easy; I don't even hear any gasps of breaths. His voice just continuously flows
gently and beautifully! I also am extremely happy with his choice of songs. This has become one of my favorite CDs. I hope we hear a lot more
from him!

Bocelli is my gold standard for beautiful, moving voices. However, I am always on the lookout for new tenors who sing in the romance languages. With the exception of Josh Groban, who does a fantastic job for a non-native speaker, I was always disappointed in my search. Vittorio Grigolo's voice touches my soul and makes my spirits soar. Another reviewer said that Vittorio's music has the power to transport. I agree wholeheartedly. I am thrilled to have discovered him, and I look forward to more beautiful music in the future. I can't stop playing this CD. Bravissimo Vittorio!

I believe now that there's a (singing) God, that had made Vittorio a NON-il divo (yuk!). A real treat to hear sounds and pitches and nuances and vibrato in such wonderful technique, masterfully controlled. After listen to Vittorio I discover so many thing Groban can't do (while trying to be a tenor which he is not), and how much richer Vittorio's voice is compared to Bocelli. And on this recording his voive can be heard clearly and not drowned out by the orchestra nor do you feel that he has to fight for his space. This is a real master, he sounds so effortless. Highly recommend.

If you are the type of person who likes feeling there spirit move around inside them when listening to a great voice, please purchase this c-d right now. Wow. I am blown away by this guy. The purity of Vittorios voice is amazing. This artist truly feels what he is singing. If heaven has a soundtrack, Vittorio is on it.If you are a fan of Pavarotti, Andrea Bocelli or Josh Groban, you can not go wrong here.There are great singers out there. Only a special few really MOVE me. Vittorio has just been added to my list. Buy this album,sit back and enjoy!

I saw and heard Vittorio for the first time when I was watching "The Bachelor". I am embarrassed to admit that but it is true. I saw the CD offered on Amazon and I bought it. I have no regrets about my purchase. The variety of the music selection is incredible. This is the most beautiful music I have ever heard bar none!

I was brought to tears as I listened to it. The first song "TU SEI" inspired me so that I wrote four pages in my journal. I have not written in my journal in months! The songs Vittorio sings have so much passion, depth, and emotion in them. I found myself dancing to one song and in the next song I am in tears. All I keep saying after CD ends is Wow! and Amazing! I love Bocelli but Vittorio is Absolutely DIVINE!

A few years ago I had written a glorious review of Vittorio's voice and his crossover album. With 50+ other people doing the same, I have now decided to write something more informative and hopeful because VITTORIO HAS A NEW ALBUM BEING RELEASED IN SEPTEMBER OF 2010!

No one has talked about how Vittorio got where he is today, and I think it is a story is worth the telling. The facts I have may not be exact as to location, but the important parts are there and tell us so much about this young man with a gift from God.

He was born in a small village not that far from Rome. His priest took Vittorio at age 9 to the Sistine Chapel to see if they thought this child had a good enough voice to be a part of the Sistine Chapel choir. Not only did they think he had the voice, they let Vittorio tour all over Europe with the choir for many years as a lead singer. They found him the best vocal coach in Rome and later, he went to what amounts to the Juillard of music in Vienna, where he was taught how to develop his operatic voice.

Vittorio has remained loyal to those who helped him and remains in Rome for the most part, coming to America for very brief performances
and has shown no interest in going for the riches he could garner as a singer in the U.S., i.e. Andrea Bocelli, Josh Groban. I would guess anyone who has heard Vittorio sing any opera will agree he is hands above Boccelli, who is not a true tenor and has to strain for the high notes. David Foster has promoted those two male singers and perhaps he has not promoted Vittorio because of the singer's choice to remain in Italy and only perform in Europe, primarily opera.
The Il Divo group solicited Vittorio to join them, but again, he chose to remain on his own and keep his commitment to opera.

All of the reviews for Vittorio are begging for a new CD. As they say, be careful what you wish for. Sony solicited Vittorio to do an operatic album. In it I believe he does arias from Donizetti, Verdi and Puccini. I wish Nessun Dorma would be included, but it doesn't look hopeful so far.

If we want to hear more from Vittorio in America, we have to buy his new album and show Sony there is an audience for Vittorio here. I have already pre-ordered mine, pricey those it is. He's worth every single penny. As in all things, you get what you pay for.

Just a couple of added notes. They say Vittorio is the only young Italian male who was allowed to not serve in the Italian army to avoid any chance of damaging his voice. He is the youngest Italian tenor to star in an opera in Italy at age 23. He performed with Pavrotti in an opera early on, and Pavrotti liked Vittorio so much, he is the one who called Vittorio "Little Pavrotti". For those who would like to hear him sing "Nessun Dorma", go to You Tube and there are two versions. One is much better than the other and you will see how a Chicago audience received him. Vittorio went there to participate in a tribute to Pavrotti after the great tenor's death.
Let us hope we hear so much more from Vittorio because he adds a richness to the lives of those who listen to this young man who sings from the heart.

This guy has an angelic, yet strong, powerful voice! I love this CD! If you like Andrea Bocelli, Josh Groban, etc then you will adore Vittorio (as do I). Get this now! :) By the way: Vittorio, se leggi questo, ti adoro!!

I wish I could rate this tenor 10 stars. His voice is wonderful and I want another cd!!! I have just about worn out this one. I change out the other cd's in my player, but his is a constant. When is he going to produce another cd? That other group of 4 guys ( YOU know who I am talking about) are good, but Vittorio is great. If you have not listened to this cd, you need to add it to your collection.

I confess I'm not a follower of opera and picked up Vittorio's DVD sampler at Barnes as a lark. We have since rushed to purchase this release in its entirety. My 8 year old daughters played the 2 song DVD non-stop until his voice lured me to their playroom to discover they had "fallen in love" with Vittorio! Even our 3 year old daughter is entranced. I stand a relative music illiterate but profess that Vittorio's voice transcends everyday emotion. Inspirational, alluring - Vittorio's voice has beckoned us to mature our musical ear.
