My wife plays this game, and the book saved a lot of time going to the computer and back to the xbox to find stuff. She did mention a few typos, but all in all a good deal if you are a big fan of the game. Comes with a bunch of those cards that you can scan on the live vision camera.

As other reviewers have accurately reitterated, this guide is great. It lays out in an easy-to-follow format every secret of Pinata Island: wild cards, twins, rare species; seeds (with productivity enhancement tips and what each plant does for your pinata); every building and Costalot merchandise with their function; the people and places; many hints for winning shows, races and breeding mini-games; and much more.

The book really speeds things up for you and helps make this expansive game a bit more attainable. It reveals secrects that many players would otherwise not know of without searching through much internet foilage-- and the book looks great on your bookshelf in the meantime with its exuberant color palette and whimsical artwork.

There is so much content in this game that I have never fully completed it, but the guide really enhances the experience. My only beef with the book is the publishers used really weak paper that will fold and tear if you're not very careful with it. So be careful, and enjoy showing it off to all your friends!

And don't forget to check out "Viva Pinata garden designs" on Youtube for great ideas on how to create lavish, theme-oriented living areas for you and your little critters to enjoy.

This book poved to be hard to find but its well worth it if you want all the pinata secrets !

Bought it for my son for his 6th birthday. He probably couldn't tell you anything else he got he was so thrilled with this. Reads it everday. Lot's of good info on how to deal with the pinatas etc. Very colorful. Recomemded to all that like the game.

Came in really good condition and I've gotten so much hours of fun from it.Would have been better if it was hardcover though.

Great to have if you're new to the world of Viva Pinata. Attract any animal. There are extra cards in the book for your camera. With the first Viva I didn't ever buy a guide and just looked up on the internet how to do different things. I prefer having this book because the game is brand new and nobody has a website up yet.

This seller has not contact me back, I have sent 4 e-mails to ask him if he could please let me know what has happen to my order. Had to waite til Sep.16, when order should had been here and still had not been shipped out or even an e-mail letting me know anything. I had to buy the book all over with a 10.00 dollar more coast to me.
Could have bought the book cheaper, just a week ago, but had to waite til the 16 of Sept. to buy it all over again. The same book was for 11.00, this seller had it for 15.00 I had to buy it for 27.00. My grandson can not play the game cause he is waitting for the guid book an is very up set too. Now he is still going to have to pay 10.00 more and wait even longer for the book new sell is great shipped that same day, but we are will still have to wait on count of XxamirxX seller so don't buy from this seller, unless you want nothing but trouble.

Book was listed as used. The only thing used looking about it was the missing plastic! Fantastic product very pleased. Thank you!!!!

If you were a fan of the original Viva Pinata...you'll love this one... It's got alot of the same game play with so much more. If you've never played a Viva Pinata game you should try the demo off xbox live...if you enjoy the demo you'll love Trouble in Paradise...It's also very addictive at first...
