This is a perfect flash for a mid-level or advanced beginner photographer. Instruction manual verifies its specific compatibility with Canon, Nikon, and Minolta. I highly recommend it to anyone wishing to supplement their camera's built in flash. It is a hot shoe flash and will sync with any of the three brands. It has both auto and manual settings, illuminated auto-focus, and both swivel and bounce capability. It will auto set to the focal length you're using.
