I bought this seeing the compatibility list, however when I opened the package I found that it is not compatible with canon 550D. Now one more item added to unusable list :(

I purchased this for my photography enthusiast wife for Christmas. I saw the same exact item in various stores for about $25 and got in on Amazon for only $8, hoping it would be the same thing. It was! She said it works wonderfully and was as easy to set up as plugging it in.
