The details say 3 AAA batteries required (included), but they are not. And also will need to purchase the SD card separately, things to consider before you buy but works great.

Bought this camera for my daughter for Christmas. It should say $28. camera on sale for $5 because that's what it's worth. This is the 2nd Vivitar camera that I ever bought and it will be my last!
Not only is it tiny it's very confusing. The buttons don't make any sense and my daughter hates it as much as I do.
It was one of her gifts from Santa and she's trying to be nice about it since it was from him, but poor Santa made a horrible purchase. She's talking about buying a new one with her own money. Now we will be buying her a new one and sending it with a note from Santa....
Don't bother buying this piece of trash!

I'm so disappointed in this camera. You have to be absolutely still when taking a photo or it will be blurry. Indoor photos with low lighting... forget it. Even a tripod can't help get these photos clear. I will end up giving it to our kids. I guess you get what you pay for.

Ordered this for myself, returned it immediately!! Screen is tiny, and hard to see what you are even taking a picture of. Decided to see what they looked like when you put them on my computer and they were worse than I thought they would be. Even for the price this camers is not a good deal!!

While my expectations weren't that high for a cheap camera, I was expecting it to be more user friendly. I find it very difficult to understand. Simple functions, such as turning the flash on and off and switching between picture and video modes, are extremely confusing. Had I spent more money on this camera, I'd be more upset. But for $36, I guess you get what you pay for.

You cannot expect more. Does the job as as long as light and distant conditions are favorable.
For this money you cannot expect more.

The camera was a little more basic than I anticipated. But since it is for a child, it will do the trick

Pictures are fine. You can count every slice of pepperoni on your pizza. You can even count the whiskers on your cat. However, videos lack definition and blur easily. The camera is set up to be easy for right handed folks, but awkward for us southpaws. It is not as good as my old 4 megapixel Olympus.
