This new high-resolution (3264 x 2448) camera has both internal memory (16MB) and an optional external SD card memory up to 1GB. With a 3x optical zoom users can photograph their subjects from a distance with great success. The 4 mode flash provides red eye reduction as well as flash on/flash off and auto function. I have just returned from a 15 month deployment in IRAQ, as a Medevac Flight Medic, Picture quality is outstanding,The video quality is good, the audio quality is good. it made it through the bitter winter, dust storms, and of course my running through the rough terrain to get to my heros, This camera did a great job, I will be sending a couple of the pictures off to National Geographic as they are that good, its sister camera is labeled by sony and is price about 100 dollars more than the vivitar, but has the exact same bells and whistles, kinda like the difference between chevy and gmc. none really

I had no problems whats so ever. It came on time, brand new, for $115 less than store price.

I purchased this item as a gift and it was the perfect item to get. So simple to use but very good quality pictures come from it, I would reccomend this to others.
