With hesitation I bought this at least for me"no name" projector and whata a surprise!!!!The projector is easily connected to the source, when in automatic mode recognize the source immediatelly and quality of the picture: Amazing!!!ultraportable, light, keystone function, level adjustment...Noise of the fan might be sometime annoying,power cable is a beat short but take a look on the price and forget about complaints!!!
I'm using it at home as home cinema with nice projector screen and results are much better than in most of my friends who have twice-three times more expensive devices. Good work Vivitek!

I'm amazed with this device. I recently bought Watchmen on Blu-ray and this 720p projector compellingly replicated the cinematic experience. It's incredibly bright, and packs in great black levels and colour accuracy. Fan noise is a bit of a bother but you can turn its speed down if your room is adequately chilled. I've seen TVs and projectors over 3x in price and this one can hold its own against them. The fact that it's small enough to fit into your backpack is the icing on top of the cake!

I purchased this item for our companies new office. It works great in our medium sized conference room with a 12' conference table. The image is very crisp and bright for presentation.

I bought this projector after a great deal of comparison shopping and I was not disappointed. This little projector is amazing. I have been using it for 6 months in a home theater with an 80 inch Planar xscreen. I have it connected to my Blueray DVDF player with a 25' HDMI cable for DVDs and streaming Netflix. I have it connected to my normal DVD player with an S-Video cable for cable hookup. I have it set as my second monitor on my computer as well.

Complaints - not many. The keystone range is a little limited by adequate and the fan is a little noisy but not so much that it is annoying, except in very quiet dialogue moments in the movie (and I do not watch many movies with quiet dialogue moments). Also, it is not compatible with a ceiling mount. I had to build a little platform suspended from the ceiling.

All in all a great projector value for home application.
