I am no longer wasting plastic baggies.

With no way to fix it or use the individual sections by themselves, the entire thing is now useless.
David C. Cohen
This bento box is very sturdy and will easily last a lifetime with its hardened plastic containers.

First of all, you should know this thing is huge. Huge! That's not good or bad, but necessary information. And it looks really cool. I mean look at that thing. It's cool. But here's the thing, you've got two massive and deep compartments, big enough for about half a casserole each and one smaller compartmentalized compartment (that's the light blue layer in the picture). And one lid. You heard me. The layer with the compartments is a nice idea, but the separators are lower than the lip, so the food spends all day milling around. Sometimes you want to keep your raisins and your grapefruit separate. And the two other layers. "Look," you're saying derisively, "the next layer acts as a lid to the to the first, doofus." Yes, and if they sealed properly, that wouldn't be a problem. Jello. Jello all over the inside of my bag. So, you end up putting tupperware or worse, baggies inside the thing that's supposed to prevent you from ever needing them again. And then you realize you don't need the box anymore. And before you know it, you're picking up tupperware at the Jewel on the weekends.

It seems that it's a simple fix, and if a version two comes out with internal lids or some rubber seal, I'll probably buy it. It really does look very cool.

No more brown paper bags, plastic sandwich bags or other wasteful material in my lunches again! This bento box is very sturdy and will easily last a lifetime with its hardened plastic containers. The locking mechanism with the handle is also very secure and there should be no fear of your containers falling out of place. I am very pleased with it and the speediness of the shipment.

It is also larger and a bit heavier than I imagined but still a valued purchase which I will use and appreciate for years to come.

This Bento box is great as a lunch box for my 13 and 11 yr.old daughters. They love it! I love it too because they are easy to clean, no more smelly lunch boxes. The top container has 3 compartments that I but fruit in the big one, veggies in the one small one and dessert (cookie/brownie/ candy) in the other small one. In the middle container I put pretzels or chips or goldfish crackers and in the bottom container I put a sandwich wrapped in a napkin. I even found a soup thermos container to put soup/chili/hotdogs and baked beans in that fits just right. I am no longer wasting plastic baggies. My girls love it because no one else has one and all their friends thinks it cool:) As for a place for a thermos I bought a thermo water bottle holder that I straped to the side and my daughers can take there milk for lunch too and That saves a ton too. I guess the only draw back is that the three containers do not seal tight so if you have any liquid it would drip out. My girls know not to lay it on it side so we have not had any problems.

This bento box fits a ton of food, which is great because I am able to keep packing for picnics simple. I have three young kids, and this is all I need to feed them and myself. I put the bento inside of an insulated bag with a cold pack to keep it cold. It would be nice if they made a special cold sleeve for it. I always get tons of compliments. The colors are great!

I am the only one at work who has a lunch box like this. It's easy to spot. I often get comments from people who want to know where I got it. The best part is that the dishes can go in the microwave to heat up the parts you want hot. Only down side is that it is bulky.
