This module is completely Qian Yung GH-311 anti-theft module 2 The main technical parameters:         1: Voltage: DC5V 2: Static current: less than 2mA         3: level output: high-5V 4: level output: the end of 0V         5: Sensor angle: not more than 15 degrees 6: Detection distance: 2cm-450cm      7: High precision: up to 0.3cm  Board wiring, VCC, trig (control side), echo (receiving end), out (empty feet), GND   Note: TRIP pin internal pull-up 10K resistor TRIP pin is pulled down by the microcontroller IO port, and then give a 10us pulse signal.  OUT pin for this module as an anti-theft module when the switch output pin, ranging module without feet! Note: The module should be inserted Fortunately, the circuit board is re-energized, to avoid high malfunction, if you had a re-energized before solve. I ordered four of these sensors for a project i am doing and i received them very quickly after ordering. I tested them as soon as i got them and i must say i was extremely surprised at their accuracy. They are recommended for 400cm-500cm max and i tested them between 200 and 400 and had absolutely no issues at all. I measured with a tape measure to verify their accuracy and they were within .5 cm. If you're looking for an ultrasonic sensor module for Arduino you can't go wrong with this one. I recommend using this Arduino library, it seems to enhance the ability of the sensor's accuracy.

The product works as advertised, my sensing range was a little bit less than 400cm, but that's ok considering conditions aren't always perfect. I used this with a raspberry pi, but I had to use a voltage divider on the ECHO pin because that operates at 5V logic, whilst the raspberry pi GPIO pins only work at 3V3 logic.

With help from instructables.com I was able to get this running in minutes. Great buy for money, so far I have tested up to 5 meters. Becomes slightly innacurate as distance increases- however nothing bad. Maybe a couple inches.

The included code got it working with some modification, you can mess with the distances to get it to do what you want but they don't seem to be accurate to the centimeter like you would expect. You'll need some fundamental arduino/programming knowledge to edit the code, and you'll need female to male jumper wires or a soldering iron to hook it up.

Not bad for screwing around with and gives clear reading one there is one object directly in front of it. But when nothing is directly in front of it, the distance is going to bounce around. I was hoping to build something that reacts when something in front of it moves but it's not great at that. If I put something in directly in front of it and that object stops, I can detect zero change in movement. But when nothing is in front of it but there's stuff in the periphery, I'll get 47cm, 38cm, 62cm, etc. with each reading. So I can't detect zero movement.
