We purchased these shinguards in PeeWee size hoping they would be a good fit for our VERY petite 2.25 year old. Unfortunately - rather than being 5 inches (as stated in the Amazon product description), from the top to bottom of the guard area they're closer to 5.5 inches.
This turns out to be about the same size as XS size Nike J guards - which provide better shin protection (but no ankle support or padding).
I'm a little disappointed that the description of the product was incorrect - but the guards themselves are more or less what I expected. In the U6 category, this style of shinguard should provide adequate, but not great protection.

My daughter loved her shin guards. She is on the petite side but they fit her fine.
