This is a message to AmazonCrossing. You should have this book translated into English and market it through AmazonCrossing. I was introduced to Vladimir Vysotksy's music through the movie White Nights. I fell in love with the scene where Mikhail Baryshnikov dances to a Vysotsky song. I wanted to learn more about Vysotsky. I downloaded a few albums. Even though I don't understand Russian, his music is extremely powerful and moving. My curiosity led me to want to learn more of his life. There is no information available in English except for a few scant websites. Luckily for me I can read French (with heavy assistance from a dictionary). This is an intimate portrait of Vysotsky's later part of his life. It should be made available to a wider audience.
