The handset was recognized immediately and did not require any driver to be used under Linux (2.6.x).Works seamlessly when running Skype on both my desktop box and my EeePC 701 4G.

The phone is recognized by the computer with no problems. However, I would not recommend it except as a back up device. It is very difficult to hear and be heard on it.

I have just purchased a VOIP/Skype phone from Computer Geeks and I am facing the following problems using it with Acer Aspire One 751 running Windows XP Home:1- Noise while hearing calls or voice mail. This makes the device useless. 2- I have installed Skypemate 4.0.2.2 (latest version in [...]). I am using Skype 4.1.0.179. I can not see in the display the contact names while scrolling down the list. This means that the phone is only valid to dial and place/accept phone calls, but not able to review the contact list, select and make the phone call from the list. I have requested support from Computer Geeks and no answer to my e-mail. I will throw the phone to the trash as it is not worth the cost to return it.
