Excellent workbook!,

This review is from: Vocabulary and Composition Through Pleasurable Reading, Book II (Paperback)
As a reading specialist for 30 years, I often had to match unique materials to individual students based upon their needs. This book was an excellent resource that uses real literature, such as Robinson Crusoe, The Yearling, and White Fang, to teach reading and writing skills. There is a strong focus on vocabulary, comprehension, synonyms, antonyms, word use, spelling and writing. A very useful resource for the classroom, remediation or home schoolers!

This review is from: Vocabulary and Composition Through Pleasurable Reading, Book II (Paperback)
In my opinion this series of vocabulary books is the best available on the market. It does the best job of integrating vocabulary, grammar, and writing with excellent pieces of classic literature. I have had children in public school, private school and have homeschooled and this series is by far my favorite to get the job done in a very integrated way!
