This is an easy read. With a lot of definitions in addition to examples given to ensure that you will understand the vocabulary. The author used read world examples to help to define the definitions. Lots of international policy and news stories over a eight year time frame. This is a requirement for a course to help us with designing a curriculum- syllabus, etc... to help our students to gain critical thinking skills.

The author in this book appears to be more determined to push a politically left agenda rather than truly discuss the vocabulary of critical thinking. Some of the definitions are vague and run in to other definitions, making two or more terms mean the same thing. Even the teacher admitted to not being able to rely solely on the book for accuracy and consistency. Where is the answer key? That would have come in very handy many times. I did, however, like the format of how the definitions and summaries/explanations were provided for each term.
