I have been teaching ESL to Spanish speakers and Hebrew speakers for the past 3 years. My students love this book. The vocabulary points are clear and detailed. The exercises are directly relevant to all of the explanation. It is great for teachers in the classroom and for students who want to study on their own.

Is an uncommon book that gives you an advanced introduction to most common vocabulary used among the students in North America, giving very good results for those who are learning the english as a second language to access college and studies purposes, enhancing the speech and personal vocabulary.

This book is aimed at the intermediate student of the English language. I had already used this book (borrowed from my library) of helping my students learn English.

I decided it was worth buying. It has lots of helpful ideas for learning how to learn a foreign language (in this case, English). It also covers many idioms as well as linking words that are formed similarly for ease in learning.
