This man is amazing! This program can change your life. It is a participatory program however, so if you are looking for a lecture series, you will think this program is awful. The program leads us through a series of vocal exercises, making sounds, feeling and releasing the tensions that keep our voices and personalities bound up and compromised. If you are willing to embarrass yourself, be real with yourself, and make a commitment to working this program, it will change your life in an amazing way. If you are looking for a quick fix and don't want to do anything embarrassing, avoid this one!

My advice is to get it and work it! You can do the exercises in the privacy of your own bedroom, with only you watching. Soon you will have more confidence and will be able to speak much more consciously and powerfully.

The description sounds promising, but I was very disappointed. The author leads you very slowly, with his coddling 'Mr. Rogers' voice that would sound unnatural in any setting except leading a meditation. There are a few great techniques, but it takes a lot of patience to endure the entire series, which I did. On the other hand, I DO recommend "The Sound of your voice", also sold at Amazon. OK, there are a few corny lapses, but there are *plenty* of real-world examples, lots of excercises, and the delivery is very dynamic. Check it out.

I LOVED this tape series! Not easy, mind you, but what worth doing ever is?? It takes time to learn the techniques, and you have to make time to practise - but this stuff is POWERFUL! Not only do I see changes in my voice, but also in my self-esteem and other areas of life. I'm more confident. I HIGHLY recommend it! But I warn you - it's not for the super-lazy. It won't do it for you. YOU have to be willing to do the work. If you are, and are looking for a gifted vocal genius to teach you - then this is the tape series for you. I also recommend his Sing Your Heart Out tapes and his books. GREAT STUFF! Very REAL. And if you get the opportunity to attend a seminar of his - I HIIGHLY recommend that too.

I am since a long time working with Arthur Joseph's vocal technics. It is amazing what you can get out of your voice and how it effects your personality. I had each time a wonderful experience. It is a book for everybody and I can not wait for the next one!

The rate and tone of his voice made me want to sleep, and the material
often doesn't fit the subject of voice training. I find it very hard to
believe that he's a professional voice teacher with his nasal sounding,
monotone voice. I'll be honest, I couldn't even finish the audio book.

Vocal Awareness can help strengthen your voice, but Mr. Joseph speaks so slowly that I found the theory behind his training to be tedious. I also wished he would have included information about techniques to add interest to the speaking voice. Further, I had some trouble understanding exactly what he expected in some of the vocal exercises. Overall, I can say that the exercises on the last CD have strengthened my voice and added range to my singing voice, but it took a long time to get through all of the other CD's to get to that point.

I can only say that Vocal Awareness provided as promised. I have a voice out there in the internet radio broadcast land and this reassured me I was right on target...thank you...terrific product and service...Who could ask for anything more?

the book is excellent, arthur joseph knows his job..after first voice exercices you will hear the diffrence in your voice..i really changed my voice in a week with this excersise..I can evem sing better and that wasnt mny objective..just try it

This is a must if you are interested in improving your vocal ability and your presence. Arthur gives you a thorough understanding of the theory and the practical application of using your voice.
