Packed full of essential functions and extra features, the VocoPro Orange-300 Carry-oke Boombox allows you to quench not only your Karaoke thirst, but your hunger for audio or video entertainment as well. The Orange-300 lets you view video or pictures, listen to music, or sing along to your favorite audio tracks, all in a single, convenient portable system.

VocoPro's Carry-oke boombox includes a built-in black-and-white TV screen with a four-way power design, eliminating the need to carry around a bulky television set. Also included is a multi-format, top-loading CD player that is compatible with audio-CDs, photo-CDs, MP3s, VCDs (Video-CDs, versions 1.0-2.0), CD-Rs and CD+Gs (CD+Graphics). This unit has an integrated tuner for AM and FM stereo radio, as well as VHF and UHF TV-signal reception. For Karaoke, this VocoPro boombox includes two built-in microphone inputs with individual volume controls and a headphone input jack for private practice and listening. The Karaoke function on the Orange-300 has 15-step digital key control with digital echo effects, as well as an MPX audio mode that lets you remove vocals from multiplexed media. This Karaoke boombox also has an automated score feature that gives you a fun way to gauge your vocal performance.

The Orange-300 Carry-oke system features a bass-boost control for extra low-end performance, as well as a full-function remote that lets you operate the entire system from a more convenient location. This system also features an innovative battery compartment-circuitry design that allows you to recharge appropriate batteries without removing them from the boombox. Though this VocoPro boombox is a complete entertainment unit by itself, all inputs and outputs are RCA-style jacks, so you can connect this unit to an external sound or entertainment system for expansion of the video or audio capabilities.

VocoPro's Orange-300 is both NTSC and PAL compatible so you can play your favorite Karaoke VCDs from anywhere in the world. This system can run on rechargeable Ni-MH or Ni-Cad type batteries (not included), or via the included AC power cord or DC car cord. One microphone and cable is included with the system, as well as an A/V RCA cable and the full-function remote control, so you can start hosting Karaoke parties as soon as possible.

This product has disappointed me because the screen keeps on shading over or distorting and even the tv image is distorted.

Everything else seem to function properly for now but the product appears to be made with cheap plastic and I can't help but wonder how long it would last.

We were not satisfied with this product. I purchased it for my daughter's 11th birthday. The mic didn't work and slight movement of the unit would cause CD's to skip. We returned it.

The Vocopro is an interesting product and attractive but the microphone just does not have enough volume to sing with. I contacted the company and sent the item back to them and they sent me another machine but it has the same problem with the microphone not having much volume.

I was disappointed. One can not really sing with out enough volume on the microphone.
