3.0 out of 5 stars Afterlife communication brings hope and verification that I value a lot
My wife suddenly passed away without warning in 2005, and since then I've struggled to completely understand how the afterlife works. Sue's book was an immense help to me, and I'm grateful for the messages it conveys about what happens to us after we depart this world. I've received several powerful "signs" and even a message that probably saved my life, from my wife, and...

5.0 out of 5 stars An inspiring and encouraging true story!, December 29, 2010
Stories that remind us of the eternal nature of the soul give us hope when the world around us seems darkest. Once we grasp the help that is available to us when we tune in, we find what we need to direct our lives toward our highest goals.

Scudder's book was triggered by contact from a beautiful young soul who died in a profound tragedy that rocked the entire community. This sweet spirit has no bitterness about her untimely death, but instead continues to teach love and forgiveness from the other side. The full story, however, is Scudder's increasing ability to converse with spirits and to remember past lives as she joins with others who facilitate wholeness. Because such abilities live in us all, this book offers encouragement, release, and peace shared in the telling of a true story.

You will be uplifted and strengthened as you return to the simple, if not easy, truths: the answer is Love and you are the Light. The Voice Across the Veil offers concrete ways to apply the lessons. You will want to share this book with everyone you know and to keep it on your shelf to return to again and again.

I am so grateful to Sue Scudder for her vulnerability in sharing truths that give us readers an opening for genuine hope. The Sudden Caregiver: Surrendering To Enlightenment

5.0 out of 5 stars This book answers some poignant questions for me . . ., August 13, 2011
In The Voice Across the Veil, Sue Scudder helped me to clarify difficult answers to age-old questions. Most poignant of these might be, "If love is the ultimate answer, then how do we deal with loving those who only hate and destroy??? . . . evil people. The heroine, Emma, guided me toward some understanding when she spoke to her killer. "I don't like what you did to me, but I do love you" was her message. It's in this young angel's selfless act of pure light that we can move forward to fully understanding the One who put us here. Karen Muldoon, MA.ed.

5.0 out of 5 stars Love, kindness and compassion can transform anything. .., January 17, 2012
This is one of those books that you just can't put down. It captivated my attention and curiosity to learn more from beginning to end. Sue is taking the reader literally across the veil, by sharing her personal stories and experiences of "the other side" (for example talking about her life as a Native American woman and her near death experience) as well as relaying her channeling with and through others. What really brought home memories and tears to my eyes is how she dealt with the devastating shooting of a young woman right here in her (and my) community. I have always wondered how these "dark forces" were converted into love and kindness. Now I know how it happened and it enforces my belief that love, kindness and compassion can transform anything.

5.0 out of 5 stars from the Author of Thunder Struck Hero, January 5, 2012
For years psychics have told us how our loved ones are doing and feeling. I have had my own experiences with loved ones who have passed. Sue Scudder has written an amazing book starting with her own near death experience and opening up the possibilities that await for us beyond this world. This book is a must because it has a message for everyone.

5.0 out of 5 stars How timely, i.e., Steve Jobs!, January 5, 2012
This review is from: The Voice Across the Veil - Powerful Messages from Beyond that give us all hope (Kindle Edition)
Sue has written a beautifully intimate book and so timely and pertinent given the passing of Steve Jobs. At his funeral service, his sister revealed in her eulogy that Steve's last words were "Oh Wow, Oh Wow, Oh Wow!" What awaits us ultimately we do not know; but, Sue helps us understand and appreciate that it's real and meaningful.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Voice Across the Veil, August 29, 2011
Sue's book is a beautiful story that really touches the heart. If you've ever wanted to understand the phenomenon of near death experiences, this book is for you. The Voice Across the Veil is compelling and informative. It provides an interesting view of what's on the other side of the veil and the possibility of connecting with those who've crossed over.

I love the angelic realm, and working in that sphere has tremendous benefit. It is clear to me that The Voice Across the Veil is an example of how working with the angelic realm can help those who may be "stuck here" by allowing them to continue their journey. If you've lost a loved one in a tragic experience, Sue's book has the potential to help bring you peace.

If you are someone who would like to know about the afterlife and spirit communication, check out this book. You'll find quite a bit of information and examples of channeling and spirit communication to help you understand the eternal spirit. This is so freeing to anyone who is searching. Thank you Sue for you passion in writing this.

5.0 out of 5 stars Afterlife, May 19, 2011
This book was an interesting read from the perspective of someone who has had a near death experience. Regardless of your beliefs, the story is intriguing and told from a genuine perspective. It really makes the reader think, as the information is similar to other's near death experiences.

5.0 out of 5 stars Why we published this spiritual communications book, December 27, 2010
When Sue and her book The Voice Across the Veil came to us, we could tell it was a special project. Sue's personal near-death-experience was the catalyst in her life to start helping people who were grieving. Sometimes the ones grieving and having the trouble separating from their loved ones were the ones who had died. Sometimes they stayed because they needed to protect those left behind. Sue communicates their messages of love and hope to us in the land of the living. Knowing that love never dies does give comfort in a way like no other.

The litmus test for Books To Believe In to choose to publish a book is, "Does it make the world a better place?" And this book makes both this world and the next a better place. We're proud to be a part of bringing The Voice Across the Veil to you.

It is also available in the Kindle format, so you can start to read it right away on your PC.
