Book Description

July 1, 2003
Sri V.T. Neelakantan recorded verbatim a series of talks given by Satguru Kriya Babaji in 1953. These are a fountain of delight and inspiration, illuminating the Kriya Yoga path towards God realization, unity in diversity and universal love. They also reveal the magnetic personality of Babaji and how he supports us all, with much humour and wisdom. They were originally printed in three volumes: "The Voice of Babaji and Mysticism Unlocked," "Babaji's Masterkey to All Ills, (Kriya)" and "Babaji's Death of Death (Kriya)." Includes the fascinating accounts of the meetings with Babaji in Madras and in the Himalayas by authors V.T. Neelakantan and Yogi S.A.A. Ramaiah. Out of print for nearly 50 years, they are profound and important statements from one of the world's greatest living spiritual masters.

Review

\"The Voice of Babaji A Trilogy on Kriya Yoga\" is 3 books in one. Book 1 is \"Mysticism Unlocked\", book 2 is \"Babaji\'s Masterkey to All Ills\" and book 3 is \"Babaji\'s Death of Death\". Each book has a detailed introduction on how the author (V.T. Neelakantan) struggled to bring these writings to print with the help of Babaji. His dialogs with the immortal Master shows the readers that Babaji is not a myth but a great soul. Babaji is also mentioned in the \"Autobiography of a Yogi\" (by Paramahansa Yogananda).

This compilation also tells the reader the reasons for the formation of another kriya organization (Babaji\'s Kriya Yoga Order of Acharyas) in addition to the already existing Self-Realization Fellowship. This Order acts as a complement to SRF and it is NOT a rival organization. It also shows us that Babaji has no wish for any organization to claim a monopoly over His form and name.

This work is written after the publication of \"Autobiography of a Yogi\" and after Yogananda\'s Mahasamadhi.(a yogi\'s conscious exist from his physical body) Thus Babaji has decided to reveal more details about his birth and life to the general public after his disciple\'s exit from this world. Even Yogananda was unable to disclose when his Paramguru was born to the general public. Here Babaji talks about his early life and place of birth.

Lastly, all SRF members should read this book if they desire to know more about their paramguru. This work is truly a classic and it is written in a literary style. --Siva Balan, Amazon USA

The Voice of Babaji is a masterpiece of truth and inspiration. It should be read by all students of Yoga, and all seekers of the Divine. --Daniel Fournier

5.0 out of 5 stars Recommended, October 9, 2008
This review is from: The Voice of Babaji A Trilogy on Kriya Yoga (Paperback)
This books is recommended for people attracted to Babaji. By the way, I have at home copies of the three Indian editions included in this book - the review of Patricia makes no sense. You can even see that Amazon offers the original book - it was published in India (but Patricia says "it was never published by Ramaiah"???). Yes, use discernment.

(REAL NAME)
This review is from: The Voice of Babaji A Trilogy on Kriya Yoga (Paperback)
This book was supposedly transmitted by the immortal Babaji to the authors, Ramaiah and Neelakantan. Ramaiah is no longer alive and I suspect that Neelakantan has also died by this time. I was a student of S.A.A. Ramaiah back in 1975-1982. I was close friends with one of his "advanced" students who was called Avvai. She traveled with S.A.A. Ramaiah to India many times. She showed me a rough draft of said book -- it was never published by Ramaiah. She told me that when she was in India she learned that the co-author, V. T. Neelakantan, had confessed that he and Ramaiah had concocted the book themselves and that it was not transmitted to them by Babaji. Yogi Ramaiah insisted it was. I don't know which is true. I am just passing this info along for the reader's discernment.
