Daniel Taylor's melodic voice has an exquisite range. He is a master of baroque music, especially Bach's cantatas. as well as more popular music. Seen in person he is a charming man as well as a wonderful musician whose careful interpretation of music is matched by his exquisite voice. I have seen him perform with large orchestras, at the annual Bach festival in Bethlehem, Pa. and listened to many discs. I used to be a fan of Alfred Deller and the Deller consort and am very happy to find in Daniels a new interpreter of music for counter-tenors.
