The Right Mix of Depth and Clarity,
By Passionate Therapist (Seattle, WA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: The Voice of the Body (Paperback)
In his long career, Lowen had written, besides many powerful books, several 'monographs' on shorter topics. These monographs were not as readily available to the larger public as his other writings, so this volume was published to fill the need. The writing in this book tends to be directed at an audience that was sympathetic to Lowen's view, but also an audience that needed the background in 'human science' to fully understand the ideas. For this reason, the writing is some of the most informative, and certainly not repetitious.
